The fan is completely still. No hum, no movement. Usually capacitor or motor failure.
Many air handlers use a run capacitor for the blower. When it fails, the fan won't start or may hum without spinning.
The indoor blower motor bearings can seize or the motor can burn out from age, dust, or electrical overload.
